Residents

Residents are free to spend the day as they like; they may choose to participate in activities or not, come to the lounges or stay in their bedrooms.

There are three lounges and a communal cafe in the conservatory providing ample choice of where to socialise or relax.

We take our food very seriously and, unlike many care homes today, we still cater in-house, with our own cooks creating appetising and varied menus.

We only use top-quality suppliers for our meat, fruit and vegetables. We are able to cater for special diets without problems.

Snacks and drinks are always available at any time of day.

Activities

Activities such as dancing, art and crafts are all part of our weekly activities that residents can participate in if they wish. Hairdressing facility is available biweekly. We regularly have entertainment with volunteers coming in to play live music.

A new cinema room will soon be available with a large screen showing favourite films for our residents.

We always have a warm welcome for family and friends, after all, this is home to our residents and they should feel comfortable for their visitors to come see them without the need to make any special arrangements.

There is ample free parking outside, so come enjoy a tea or coffee in our help yourself cafe.
