Family
We provide a warm, friendly environment for our residents in which they can flourish and feel totally at home. Residents are encouraged to bring in personal items and furniture to make them feel more comfortable.
Small
We have 24 single occupancy bedrooms all on the ground floor with their own toilets and washing facilities. A large garden area with easy access and paved walks for exercise.
Personal
Many of our staff have been with us several years, our residents get to know their carers well and this helps to build the friendly atmosphere that so many visitors comment upon.

Residential Care
At Oakleigh we are committed to creating a home in the truest sense of the word.
The rooms are bright, airy, comfortably furnished and all rooms have a call system for assistance. Residents are encouraged to bring in personal items and furniture to make them feel more at home. We have a selection of communal areas so that residents can meet their needs for socialising or a quiet time, plus a lovely dining area for meals.
Your family and friends are always welcome, and you will always be looked after with the very best of care and attention.
Respite Care
Respite care enables our residents to enjoy a short stay in our beautiful surroundings from a few weeks to longer periods. Respite at Oakleigh provides much needed social interaction and nutritional support.
If a family carer is taking a well-deserved holiday, or you require some recovery support, then respite care at Oakleigh presents the perfect package. Providing devoted family carers with a temporary break and true peace of mind, in the knowledge that all of our residents receive first-class care in a safe and supportive environment.
Dementia Care
Our highly experienced and compassionate team provide 24-hour care in a residential environment. These include assisted bathrooms, laundry and housekeeping, local GP services, activities and entertainment, to best support our residents living with Dementia.
We put our residents’ needs at the heart of everything we do, from the care plans shaped around each individual we look after, to the delicious, home-cooked food that takes personal preferences and nutritional needs into account, to the social interaction schedules.
Note: Several improvements have been made since and we are awaiting new inspection.
